The Flensted Niels Bohr Atom Model Mobile was created in collaboration with the Niels Bohr Institute of Copenhagen to celebrate 100 years of the revolutionary model of the atom first introduced in 1913. looks beautifully hung over a bed or sofa to honor the movement of the swallow. Made by hand in Denmark with metal steel rings and high-quality plastic balls.

For over 60 years, Flensted has employed "homeworkers" to assemble their mobiles. Each mobile is created in people's homes, with regular visits from Flensted to provide supplies and new mobiles in exchange for the completed ones. Almost all Flensted mobiles are lighter than a standard letter. They can be fixed to your ceiling with a tiny nail––no drills or hooks are needed.

Care Instructions: Cardboard mobiles can be very lightly dusted with a soft brush. Wood, aluminum, or plastic mobiles can be wiped with a moist cloth with a few drops of mild dishwashing detergent.
